The dinner was indeed very special because each of the tables was decorated in a different way, representing an example of creativity and aesthetics. It is the solidarity of many that allows us every year to aid children and adolescents at risk.
Every year the solidarity of many allows us to help countless children and adolescents that are at risk, this through the ANAR Foundation. The magic of this dinner is possible thanks to the participation of the 550 persons attending the dinner: ranging from those at the head seats, who apart from gathering together their friends quite often decorate their own tables, right through to renowned interior decorators that assemble spectacular tables. All of them, along with an assortment of well-known personalities, were dressed to the tees, elegantly highlighting the event.
The dinner was lively and went on right into the wee hours of the night. This is the first time that FISAN has collaborated as one of the evening’s sponsors and apart from counting with our own table we were also able to offer the guests a sampling session of our Gran Reserva Acorn-Fed Ham.
To be highlighted amongst the dinner guests were Borja Thyssen and Blanca Cuesta, Manuel Segura and his wife, Mar Flores and Javier Merino, Fernando Martínez de Irujo, Anne Igartiburu, the Model Teresa Baca, Jaime Cantizano, Carmen Lomana, Mónica Hoyos, Josemi Rodríguez Sieiro, Pitita Ridruejo and her husband Mike Stilianopoulos, Isabel Tocino, Marina Castaño, Vicky Martín Berrocal, Diego Osorio, Pascua Ortega, the Magician Jorge Blas, who delighted the guests with a lovely magic trick, Gigi Sarasola…
The ANAR Foundation, apart from its Helpline Telephone for Children and Adolescents, is also providing support for families through its ANAR Helpline for Adults and Family. Since the year 2010 ANAR also has a social interest number for missing children, situations that deeply move all of us. ANAR is also working with children and adolescents by way of e-mail, the social networks and the new technologies.
The origins of the ANAR Foundation date back to 1970 with the opening of Foster Homes. ANAR is present with all these programmes in Latin America, Columbia, Peru, and Mexico and soon will also be covering Chile.
The ANAR Foundation also counted with the sponsorship of FISAN, Porcelanosa, Peugeot, Estrella Damm Inedit, G.H. Mumm, Beefeater 24, Value Retail and Massumeh in the organisation of the fundraising dinner. Likewise the photographers Beatriz Abad, Fernanda Padilla and Pedro Caruncho offered their work and solidarity participating in the dinner. Coordination of the event was to the account of Ana Milans del Bosch.
From FISAN we would like to express our appreciation to all for their effort and dedication, allowing this event to be a fabulous success.
