An excellent Acorn Campaign, even if somewhat early in time
The Acorn Montanera (free-ranging period) has come to its end. The last Iberico pigs that have been free-ranging on acorns in the meadowlands, in the traditional way among the Holm Oaks, have now arrived at our facilities.
This campaign has been truly excellent, both due to the quantity of acorns, as well as to their quality. The Acorn-Fed Iberico Pigs that we have chosen this campaign have truly profited from the abundance of acorns that was available. However, it has also been one of the most demanding campaigns that can be remembered, as it has been practically reduced to eight weeks of incredible activity. Thus the work at all our facilities has been very intense, not only for those in charge of receiving and preparing the animals, but for all of the work teams at our factory; as the preparation period for the acorn-fed products has been reduced in several weeks with regards to the usual period.
For all of you that enjoy our processed products, this is not indeed a bad piece of news. The countdown has started for the campaign products. Here below you can see a table with the different varieties that we put at your disposal, which includes their different curing periods. With this table you will be able to calculate when your favourite product is ready. Very soon, really very soon!!!
